The Minolta X-700 is one of the most celebrated 35mm SLR film cameras of the 1980s, paired here with a fast Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 lens for a ready-to-shoot kit. It's Minolta's most successful film camera ever made - loved for its bright viewfinder, Program auto-exposure and intuitive layout - and with this fast, sharp "nifty fifty" already mounted, you're set up to start shooting great 35mm film from the moment it arrives.

✔ Minolta's acclaimed Program AE system – Set it to Program mode and the X-700 automatically selects the ideal aperture and shutter speed combination for the scene, giving you fuss-free results without sacrificing image quality.

✔ Includes the Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 lens – A fast, sharp standard prime (6 elements in 5 groups) known for natural framing, creamy background blur and strong low-light performance - a genuinely classic pairing for the X-700.

✔ Full creative control on tap – Switch effortlessly between Program, Aperture Priority and full Manual (plus Bulb) exposure modes, so you can shoot on autopilot or take total control of aperture and shutter speed as your skills grow.

✔ Bright, precise viewfinder – A 0.85x pentaprism viewfinder with 94% coverage and a split-image/microprism focusing screen makes manual focusing fast and accurate, even in lower light.

✔ Expandable Minolta SR lens mount – Beyond the included 50mm, this 35mm camera is compatible with Minolta's extensive range of MD and MC Rokkor lenses, so the system can grow over time.

✔ Award-winning, motor-ready build – Winner of the 1982 European "Camera of the Year," the X-700 accepts an optional winder or motor drive for continuous shooting up to 3.5fps.

The Minolta X-700 with its included Minolta MD 50mm f/1.7 lens is a fantastic, ready-to-shoot entry into 35mm SLR photography - combining one of the most respected vintage cameras ever made with a fast, versatile lens in one complete kit.

Battery Requirement – This reusable SLR film camera operates with 2x LR44 1.5V or 1x CR-1/3N batteries (sold separately).
